Information needed in the early stage of mold design

1. Product shrinkage rate
This is because the size of the plastic part will become smaller when it is cooled at room temperature after injection molding. Therefore, the size of the cavity on the mold should be enlarged when designing the mold. This requires a magnification ratio, which we usually call the shrinkage ratio. According to the different characteristics of each compound, its shrinkage rate will be different, so the customer must provide the shrinkage rate in the early stage of the design.
 

 
2. Machine information
The mold is finally produced by injection molding on the injection molding machine, and the size of the mold is determined according to the machine data. Therefore, reasonable matching of the customer's machine can also verify whether the tonnage of the injection machine is sufficient for mold production.
When receiving an order, the business department must confirm with the customer the following most basic injection molding machine information for this project.

 

 

3. Information on water joints and oil joints
The water joint (oil joint) on the mold is provided by our company to the customer, The water joint (oil  joint) should match the quick connector nozzle (tubing joint) of the customer's injection factory, so the business needs to confirm the specific brand and model of the mold water joint and oil joint with the customer in the early stage of mold design.

4. the brand and model of the junction box and the connection method
For the hot runner mold, the customer needs to provide the specific brand and model of the junction box and socket. If the hot nozzle wiring needs to be pre-connected when the customer's mold is shipped, the customer must also provide the wiring method to match the guest's temperature control box.
